I’m pretty pleased with how this fits straight out the packet! I was slightly over the measurements for a 12 bust and 14 waist, but cut those sizes because I’ve had trouble with woven dressed gaping before and thought a bit of extra negative ease in this jersey version might help. It sits really well, but the facing keeps poking out despite understitching and pressing really well. I’ll have to look into how to fix that if I make another one.

The instructions were in line with other big 4 patterns I’ve used. They were OK, and I managed to make a wearable dress, but they definitely lack detail compared to indie patterns. I didn’t think the gap for the waist tie was explained well, but I figured it out from dresses I’ve made before.

I made this version from 2.5m of viscose jersey, but had to shorten the ties as I didn’t have enough length after cutting the other pieces.
