I’ve made the wrap version twice and i strongly recommend cutting the front edge facing on the straight grain to support the diagonal grain of the skirt overlay.  Stay stitching can only do so much!

On the second skirt i also changed the pocket to the right side so i had it on my dominant side.

I love wearing this pattern, i think it stays closed pretty well, both walking and sitting, and i love the style lines of the wrap.
