Toaster sweaters

A review of Sew House Seven Toaster Sweaters

I finally made a Toaster #2! I #1got a little sidetracked with Toaster #1, but this beautiful jersey from Swafing got me back on track! Toaster #2 is an easy make, but with a nice construction detail: to get the interesting neckline, you just need to fold down the back and front pattern piece and voila! You don’t even need to attach a facing. The split hem is another nice detail – for me it was the first time to sew a split hem, but SewHouse7’s instructions are spot on, so no problem there. The only thing you need to be aware of is the length of the sweater: It is really, really short. I had read that on other blog posts, but as I am only 5’2”, I thought I could get away without lengthening it. But even on me, it is short. I think next time I will add an inch or so.
