The perfect wardrobe staple

I’ll admit it, when I first saw this skirt it didn’t look like something I’d go for. I’m not really an a-line midi kinda person which is what the cover pattern makes it look like. However, I kept seeing the mini version pop up on instagram and loved so many of them that I decided to try it.

The first thing I noticed about this pattern is it has a LOT of pieces. Because of this I thought it would be a bit of a nightmare to sew up but it was honestly fine. It builds in a really logical way and the TATB team have done a blog post on fitting and a video on inserting a fly zip, both of which I highly recommend.

Despite my initial reservations about the pattern it has fast become one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. Well done TATB for another cracker of a pattern!
