The Laneway Dress

This is my first time making a dress using a PDF pattern which I found the pattern assembly instructions to put A4 pages together very easy to follow. A plus for this pattern is the with customized cup sizes from B to D. When making the mock up, I initially cut at 16C but found this was too big so the final version was a 14C. As I am petite in height, I shortened the bodice by 1.5 inches and added 1.5 inches to the front darts. Dress was made out of a cotton twill which I thought would be too heavy but hangs well with structure. I will definitely be making this dress, possibly out of a double crepe and a contracting front facing.
