This is my second (finished) Southport. (There was a third but I made a size down which wasn’t going to fit so gave up.) I made it in a gorgeous Seasalt cotton voile.
I made the size 14, I have a short body and found the neck line a little low on my first version, so removed 2 inches from the front bodice straps. I also scooped out the arm scythes by a 3/4 inch and lengthened the skirt by 2 inches.
I am very pleased with the alterations as its a perfect fit now! It has been so lovely to wear in this hot weather!
