So beautiful and elegant!

As soon as I saw the Magnolia dress I knew I wanted to make it! It’s beautiful, elegant and makes you feel amazing wearing it! I always think a pattern is amazing when there are so many variations, and this dress offers just that to customize it your way. I wanted to ensure the fit was perfect so I made a toile of the bodice and waistband first. I made quite a few adjustments to the toile and even a couple to the final fabric. Including shortening the bodice by 2.5cm, a small bust adjustment and shortening the shoulders by 1cm. My overall opinion? I really do love this pattern! I love the mock wrap and princess seams along with the skirt. Although I feel that a lot of care needs to be taken with the fitting which is why I’m giving it 4 stars.
