Slightly problematic

I think I am in the minority when it comes to this pattern, as much as I love the look of this dress (and the rest of Deer and Doe patterns to be honest) I found the pattern to be slightly problematic. I fell in love with the Myosotis the moment it was launched and straight away made the version B. Sadly, the shoulders just didn’t fit me right. I had diagonal folds in the front that run from the neckline all the way down to the front armhole, and the bodice/dress pulling to the back. I find tweaking shoulders on a bodice to be a lot more complex than an SBA/FBA, definitely not my favourite part of fitting. I have made adjustments to the pattern, and my second version definitely fits better on me. I think it’d have been an easier/quicker process had I had a sloper already and so I could just compare the pattern pieces.
