Ruby Dress

I made the Ruby dress over a year ago when I first started sewing – it was my first ever make following a pattern. The instructions were really clear and the fit is great as well. I love the skirt – it’s one of those really swishy ones with loads of volume – I think it would be lovely with a tulle underskirt as well for a 50’s prom dress look. I made it in a heavier cotton so its quite sturdy. The back is lovely as well as it goes into a V shape which is a bit different and gives it a more dressy feel for parties. I’ll definitely make this again!
