I absolutely love this pattern! It was so much fun to make and the result is gorgeous. A super comfortable dress to wear and keeps you nice and cool. I found attaching the front yoke a bit of a challenge and ended up using the ‘burrito method’ rather than the method in the instructions as they didn’t make any sense to me. This was my first shirt dress and the instructions were otherwise clear and easy to follow. I made a straight size 14 and didn’t have to make any adjustments. The drawstring falls right on my natural waist which is rare for me with most patterns. I also didn’t adjust the length and I’m 5’6″. I love the sexy side split! I didn’t attempt pattern matching my pockets because my life is too short and I’m not sure I could have got my head around it with those pockets pleats.
I used a cotton I had purchased from Seasalt and the red buttons and red cord are from Stof and Stil.
