Quick to sew, but not a perfect pattern.

I had this double-sided jersey which I really want to make the most of and this pattern gave me the perfect opportunity to do that.

I like the darts on the sleeves to give them some shape, and the sleeves, body and neck went together pretty quickly and easily.  Strangely there were no pattern pieces for the cuffs, so after a bit of trial and error I created my own which seemed to do the trick.  I decided I prefer my jumpers to be slightly longer, and this was a good opportunity to use some more of the reverse side of the fabric and create a contrasting hem to add 5cm to the length.

Overall it works out as a comfortable jumper which would be very rapid to sew next time now I’ve tweaked it to suit my preferences.
