Quick, easy make

 A great pattern! I’ve made this twice as a blouse and once as a maxi dress. For the blouse, I made a standard size 12 but removed 3 inches or so from the length. For the dress, I made the same size but added a couple of inches’ length to each piece so it would be closer to a maxi length than a midi length.
This is certainly suitable for beginner sewers- there are no tricky curves to stretch out of shape or any fastenings to worry about. Aside from a bit of stitching in the ditch (or topstitching if you’re feeling lazy), there’s nothing too challenging involved at all. It sews up in about an hour (not including cutting out the fabric). Definitely a must-sew!
