This was a really nice, quick project for me, and I was really happy with the results.
Fabric: a “faux-silk” polyester with the sheen and texture of crushed silk. It cut nicely (with a rotary cutter), held its shape, didn’t really fray, pressed nicely and is machine washable – perfect!
Sizing: I come up between an 8 and a 10 on their sizing chart, but since there seemed to be loads of ease based on the finished garment measurements, I went down and cut the 8. It’s spot on as a slimmer-fit blouse which is how I like to wear my tucked-in blouses.
Instructions: really clear and easy to follow.
Alterations: I lengthened the sleeve by about an inch. I have long arms! I also ended up having to lower the neckline point by about an inch as it was a big snug going over my head.
Difficulty level: It’s labelled an intermediate, but I still consider myself a beginner, albeit a confident beginner, and it didn’t have any issues. I French-seamed most of the internal seams and it was largely ok although the way I had to lower the neckline meant it wasn’t as neat at the bottom of the v-neck where it meets the centre seam. Nothing you can see from the outside though. I think a lot of the difficulty of this pattern will depend on the fabric you choose – I can imagine that something like a chiffon-type texture would have been a lot more difficult.
The end result: I love it so much!
Would I recommend it?: 100%

P.S. – One of my images has uploaded rotated to one side, even though it’s the right way round on my computer and other upload sites. I can’t seem to find any option to rotate it so please bear with it!
