Pretty blouse!

A review of Jennifer Lauren Handmade Aisling Blouse

I’ve been meaning to make the Aisling blouse since it was first released, and I’m glad I finally got around to it!

I made the simplest version (no buttons, no collar) so it was fairly quick and easy to sew, but all the same the instructions are really good – clear and with just the right amount of detail.

The square neckline is really pretty, and I also particularly like the blouson style sleeves and their elasticated cuffs.

I made a 14/B cup as recommended for my measurements and it turned out nicely. I didn’t make any adjustments and the fit is good – it sits nicely at the shoulders and bust and then flares out slightly towards the waist and hips.

I’m really pleased with how it turned out, and can definitely see myself making this pattern again in the future.
