Polka-dot skirt

The skirt came together really well. It has a lot of steps, but they’re well described in the instructions and there are some additional videos on the blog. The only bits that are letting it down a bit for me is the fit in the bum area: I seem to have a bit too much fabric and I’m not quite sure how to tackle that. It would nice if there were some guidelines on how to check for the fit there. Other than that, lovely pattern, it fits really well in the waist and the hips, which is exactly what I was after as it’s difficult to find skirts that are relatively straight / tight fitting with my waist/ hip ratio.
For reference, I made a straight size 7, and my own measures are W 90 cm, H 112. A Little below their measures, which might explain why I have a bit of fabric excess.
I am going to make another version of this skirt, but in a heavier fabric. Also, I just want to mention that I love the front pockets! My phone fits in my front pockets!!!
