Pinafore perfection!

This is my second version of the Ivy pinafore and I can’t recommend the pattern enough. It’s easy to make, but the finishing is so neat and clean I think sewists of all levels could tackle this project and make a garment they are delighted with.

I used a lightweight wool for my dress and made it in the size 10 with no alterations. I’m delighted with the finished garment – it’s warm and comfortable and I think the self-covered buttons give it a fun 60s vibe.
