Perfect swishy skirt

This is Simplicity 8606.

It is just what I imagined. Bright and swirly

A wrap skirt with a flounce.

It comes in 4 options. This is view D. The short one but with the flounce

I gambled choosing this length, wondering if it was too short. The longer version would have been far too long for me. As the flounce is cut out as a spiral, it is not easy to shorten or lengthen the pattern.

I went with the Size 14 indicated for a 28’’ waist, 38’’ hip. I’m a 29’’ waist and 37’’ hip.

It was a very straight forward sew with clear instructions.
