One Piece Wonder

RTW jumpsuits never seem to fit my proportions correctly. With my 5’0 figure and short torso, most RTW jumpsuits hit below my natural waistline and are far too low in the crotch. That’s where the Zadie Jumpsuit pattern and my sewing superpowers come in. For reference, my measurements are 34 / 27 / 38 which makes me approximately a size 10. I sized down to a size 8 and reduced the rise/crotch on the pattern by 2 inches as recommended by the Instagram sewing community. I also removed 3/4 inch from the bodice. After I sewed up the separates, I did my initial fitting and realized there was too much room in the rear and back bodice, so I took in another full inch on the back seams. That seemed to do the trick and I achieved a much more flattering fit.
