This pattern had been on my “to make list” for quite some time, but after seeing a couple of gorgeous versions pop up on my feed, it finally shot to the top.
It came together perfectly and I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. The fact that there are no button holes, apart from an optional one at the top (which I found I did not need), meant it was also a fairly quick make, as I tend to dither a bit around the task of adding button holes!
I made my version out of a viscose as I wanted a drapey comfortable shirt and that’s exactly what I got.
I think this pattern is the perfect starting point for anyone who is yet to tackle a shirt, or a more experienced sewer who wants a less involved, but no less satisfying make.
Needless to say I already have at least another 3 planned!!
