A review of Tilly and the Buttons Jaimie Pyjama Bottoms

Tilly and the Buttons Jaimie is a super simple, super cute pair of pyjamas, available as either full-length or as shorts, with an optional drawstring. I would consider this the ultimate newbie sewist pattern, as it whips together in a flash, is oh-so-comfy for lounging in (and currently working from home in!), and the buttonholes at the waist for the drawstring are probably the only daunting aspect. Like all Tilly and the Buttons patterns, the instructions for the Jaimie pyjamas are so easy to follow, with clear photographs to help guide you through every step.

I made a pair of the pj shorts from this kitschy Figo Fabrics quilting cotton; the print of old-school diners, drive-in movies, food trucks on the dark jade background has such a retro-Americana feel. I really love my finished pyjamas and I even made a matching ‘Tabitha’ tee to wear with them – you can see more photos and details on my blog!

The Jaimie pyjamas are such a lovely pattern and I’m pleased as punch with my finished matching set!
