Mila Dungarees

I definitely wanted to jump onto the dungaree bandwagon but wasn’t too sure if they would suit me. I knew I didn’t want them slim fitting as that would definitely not be a good look. I know the Milas are a slim fit but as Tilly instructions are always on point I knew this pattern would be the one I wanted to try.

I opted for the largest size to get the loose fitting look. I used a floral print stretch cotton from Sew Me Sunshine.

Although they fit they aren’t the most flattering as the chunky waist bands sits low so it’s on my widest point. I think this is a drafting thing rather than it being completely about my shape. I shortened them by 5 inch so they now hit my ankle but have only worn them rolled up. Yes I’m short!

I think I wore them twice and then passed them on. It’s a shame as it was one of my best sews and I loved the fabric.
