Firstly, I love this dress! If you’d like more detail, keep reading.

I had made this dress before but it comes up quite short in the middle where the wrap meets. This time, I added 3″ to the length on the skirt (& corresponding amount on the front ruffle) to make me more comfortable when sitting.

I lengthened the bodice by 1″ as well, which is unusual for me as I have a short torso.

I also lowered the bust darts by 2.5cm (apologies for mixing cm & inches, depends what ruler I have to hand when adjusting!)

Despite needing a few tweaks, they were all relatively simple adjustments and I was happy to make them to get a dress for my body.

I made my dress in a dreamy rayon, which feels lovely and floaty to wear.

I really like Papercut patterns and this certainly doesn’t disappoint.
