I really love this pattern – I’ve made two now and find them perfect for summer. I think the construction and pattern drafting is very well designed because it only requires a few pieces to some together. The collar and waist ties give you all the shaping you need as well as creating a very elegant drape. All together, this makes for quite a quick and relaxing sew – not too many seams and no hassle with fit. I haven’t yet tried a maxi version with longer sleeves, but think that you could definitely use this for an evening dress.
There are also a further two benefits, in that it is quite quick to sew (less than a day) and it doesn’t use a lot of fabric – Mine only used 1.5m. I would really recommend this pattern, because I think there’s a lot of potential with the various options and I wear mine a lot!
