Mandy Boat Tee

Who doesn’t love a free pattern?
I have been eyeing up this free sewing pattern for quite some time now and when I noticed The Stitch Sisters on YouTube had made a video of their favourite free top sewing patterns I knew I wanted to make one up in a stripey jersey fabric just like theirs.
It is quite a basic pattern. Don’t be put off by the handwritten and hand sketched pattern pieces, they all fit together perfectly, and whilst the instructions are fairly simple, they are to the point and very good indeed. All this is accompanied by step by step photographs.
It uses just a little over 1 metre of fabric. Happy days.
It’a a one size fits all pattern and has a slouchy oversized body, narrow 3/4 length sleeves, and a boat neck. I love the dropped sleeves which remind me a little of the Sew Over It Molly Top. Quick and easy to sew it really is rewarding to make and a pretty useful everyday top!
Full marks from me and I will definitely make up more of these.
