Lovely Lucerne

I’ve had the Lucerne Blouse in my stash for a while and I found the perfect length piece of left over Atelier Brunette Viscose Crepe Fabric

I went with a size 10, in accordance with my bust measurement, with no adjustments.

Whilst the fabric is not the most summery of prints, and it feels very much like we’re already heading for Autumn already around here, it’s a complete success.

It’s fairly long (much like my lock down hair!), but perfect for tucking in/half tucked, which is generally how I’ll wear it.

The tie on the sleeve just elevates it from the ordinary and was simple to do. I’ll definitely be using this detail on sleeve cuffs in the future, both long and short. I think that next time I would gather the end of the sleeve slightly before attaching the cuff, to make it narrower around the arm and give a nod to today’s full sleeve trend.
