Love love love!!!

I love the sporty design of this suit.  I wore it paddle boarding this summer and felt like a boss  <3 <3

Helen’s instructions were awesome-  I’ve never attempted sewing swim-like fabric but I felt confident with Helen’s guidance.  I also love that after Helen releases a pattern, she follows it up with blog posts full of sewing tips and resources to make your project successful.   I bought a “swim grab bag” from Peekaboo patterns, which contained enough yardage to make this suit (with lining) plus a basic muslin.  On her blog, Helen does have a tutorial to add cups to the top, which I would probably do in future when working with a solid fabric to provide a little more coverage.

Sizing seemed right on.  I made a straight size 16 (B cup, 42″ full bust, 36″ waist)
