London Calling!

I made the dress version, deciding to omit the neck-ties. Absolutely love this! The instructions are really clear are construction is straightforward. The keyhole neckline is just lush and the shape is super flattering. Amazing debut pattern from Selkie… London is calling for a lot more of these in my wardrobe! My perfect summer dress.

The waistline does make up a little big so I would consider sizing down and shortening the bodice by a couple of cm; sewing the darts as opposed to pleating may also help. I also shorted the hem by about 4 inches, as unfortunately I wasn’t blessed with lengthy pins and I prefer a shorter hemline.
The only thing I had trouble with was the invisible zip insertion, but again this was probably just me; instructions are provided for a regular zip but you will need to find your own instructions for an invisible zip.
