Komodo Dress No 1

This is such a simple, clever and lovely pattern! I had rather lost my sew-jo recently, so I used it as a nice easy win, wardrobe staple, quick to sew project. It more than met my expectations! The instructions were clear, although I did properly finish the arm and neck holes, and the hem (the pattern suggests leaving them raw), because the fabric would have frayed. I used a light weight black and blue woven wool with a subtle check pattern woven in, which I bought at Woolcrest textiles in London. I loved this dress the moment I put it on, and I will be making more of them in future.
