I made this dress as a pattern tester. It is a real beauty and the fit is great. I had to make a small bust adjustment but after that, the bodice fit perfectly and there is no gaping. I had some small issues with the armhole but managed to solve it with making the seam allowance wider in the upper part around the shoulder.
I used lightweight cotton for it and it worked out great for this pattern. The fabric choice makes the skirt hold a firmer shape than it would with viscose for example. I love the sleeve detail on this version and it is so easy to construct.
