I LOVE Yanta! I’ve wanted some dungarees for a while now and although I made the Milas I didn’t find them very flattering on me. When Helen released this pattern I knew straight away I wanted a pair.

To get a slightly more fitted pair I graded between sizes based on the finished measurements as there is quite a bit of ease. Helens fitting instructions are superb as she tells you how they should fit on each part of your body. As well as grading I lengthened the bib to fit over my bust, this was the easiest bust adjustment I’ve ever done!! The pattern is drafted for a taller person than me and instead of just taking the length off of the leg I shortened by 2inch a the body lengthen/shorten point and 2inch at the leg lengthen/shorten point. I am so happy with the fit.

I didn’t add the side zip as I only have to do a slight wiggle to get in and out of them. I’m planning a denim pair for the winter am thinking of adding buttons at the side like the Milas.

I love all the top stitching detail and that the bodice is partially lined. These started out as a wearable toile but I’m so happy with them that they are now to be referred my fav make this summer! They are so comfortable and they make me feel so happy.

Also, I love the land girl/Rosie the Riveter look I’ve got going on here!
