A review of Helen's Closet Gilbert Top

This is my second version of the Gilbert top by Helen’s closet.
I love the casual style of the shirt and think it is suitable for confident beginners to tackle because it doesn’t have a collar stand or fiddly shirt cuffs to deal with.
I would recommend you have a good look at the finished garment measurements to make sure you’re happy with the sizing beforehand. I decided to cut a straight size 8 as I didn’t want it to be too oversized around my hips.
Also note I’m 5ft9 and have a slightly longer torso than average. This is view A at its unaltered length and you can see it comes to my high hip. So again check the finished garment measurements to check the length before you cut it out.
