Halla Coat

I absolutely love this coat but the instructions almost made me give up!

As soon as I saw the Halla coat I knew that would be my next major project. It’s an intermediate pattern with skills such as inserting shoulder pads and sleeve heads.
The make started well and the instructions were clear with very useful illustrations. But when it came to the lining it was accompanied by photos which didn’t make it clear how to attach the sleeves and hem. It took me 2 hours to figure it out and that was only by basting different options to see how to do it.

The finished coat I love especially the fake lapels and large pockets. I’m not set for winter.
