Great pattern for beginners

Indigo is a very good beginner friendly dress pattern, I have made mine in Jungle viscose print from Good Fabric

I have lowered my bodice by few inches, if you do the same, remember to raise your pocket up by the same amount, otherwise they will be too low.

The dress doesnt have any closures like zips and pockets, so its quite roomy. I dont think it is the most flattering shape on me as i really want to define a waistline on this dress. Next time i would add waist ties to give it some shaping.

Also, i think i need to play around with proportion of the sleeve length, i might shorten them.

I love the skirt and how it swishes when i walk, so overall i think it is a great pattern, just needs tiny bit of adjustment
