Great minimalist jumpsuit

A review of Homer + Howells Lennox Boilersuit and Shirt

I am a very big fan of all Homer + Howells patterns. They are drafted so professionally and feature lovely little details that make them stand out.

I chose to make view B, which is cropped leg length and it features elasticated waist. I did do a toile first which is am very please i did. The big change i made i shortened a bodice by 3 cm and i also tapered trousers from hips by 10cm. Also, i ended up not adding elasticated waist to the final jumpsuit.

The pattern has a very relaxed lose fit, which is very important for a jumpsuit. it is very comfortable and does not pull anywhere.

The pattern features bust dart and little tucks at the front and back, which created a lovely shape.

The complicated bit for me was fly zip and collar stand, but surprisingly it worked so i have to credit great instructions and illustrations.

I made my jumpsuit in Mind the Maker denim, its worked great, the only thing to mention, there is no need for fusing waistband or collar if you use similar weight fabric.

I wear mine with leather boots but also will look great in summer time with trainers.

Love this pattern so definitely recommend it.
