Geneva Raglan Tee

This was a fun and dead simple top to make. However, I didn’t enjoy having to add the seam allowance! What a headache! The top has the unusual feature of shoulder darts, which when I sewed them came out very pointy — it looked like there was room for shoulder pads of some sort underneath the top! I rectified this by sewing over the dart about 1cm further in, and curving the start and finish lines. I shortened the sleeves by 6cm, but I have tiny arms! No other adjustments. Instructions were simple, as the top warrants, but I felt assumed a bit of prior dressmaking knowledge. Looks exactly how I planned — I’m a UK size 8-10, and cut a 38, grading to a 40 at the hips. The grading might not have been necessary, since it’s quite flared anyway, even for someone pear-shaped like me!
