I made the flint pants in Outback Wife by Gertrude Made barkcloth. I usually have to grade between sizes for my waist and hips but I was able to cut a straight size small and they fit very well with little adjustment. They have a straight waistband so I needed to do my usual sway back adjustment, by removing a small horizontal wedge below the waistband.

I really love the style and how they look and feel in barkcloth. I used a vintage button next to the waist tie and lined the pockets in yellow cotton I had leftover from another project. I would recommend the pattern to beginners because they are easy to fit and would work in a variety of woven fabrics.

Im also wearing the rowan top by Megan Neilson as well, in merino knit.
