Fifi – Tilly & the Buttons

I chose to make these pj sets for my nieces. The pattern requires careful measurements around the bust area but other than that, its a straightforward make. As someone who doesn’t own an overlocker I appreciated that all seams are done via French seams so it’s beautifully made, inside and out. Being nightwear it’s also good that the seams are nice and strong.

These are made in a pretty Liberty cotton from Fabrics Galore.

As always the instructions from Tilly and the Buttons are brilliant- first time making my own bias binding and sewing elastic onto clothing, no issues encountered.
