Easy and breezy!

I must admit, I had my doubts about the Indigo pattern – I’m not normally a fan of shapeless garments on my petite frame, but I absolutely love this pattern. I opted for the dress version with the gathered sleeves.
As I was making the tester version, I didn’t make any alterations. We were advised to size up if we were between sizes, which I did.
I made mine in a drapey cotton fabric, which held the gathers well and was easy to work with.
I love that the pattern has pockets (to be fair, I would have added them either way)! I think it would be a great beginner project and could be made in a variety of fabrics (linen, cotton lawn, rayon).
It was great to wear on cooler summer days but it will really come in to its own in Autumn/Winter when worn over tights and boots.
