Coco – Tilly and the Buttons

A review of Tilly and the Buttons Coco Top and Dress

I’ve made two cocos now – one with a funnel neck and one without. The first with the funnel neck is pictured made with a ponte roma. I only had 1.25m so only managed to get a 3/4 length sleeve.
The instructions were easy to follow and understand and I’d say suitable for beginners….. though perhaps without the funnel neck for the first time. I did find my funnel neck was 3cm too long for the pattern but no idea why this was and no one else seems to have experienced this! Maybe with my next one I’ll make more. There are slight vertical drag lines on the top of the sleeves – not sure why this is either. I did have to take the top in by about a 1cm even though cut out based on my measurements and probably could still take it in a little more.
I do love Tilly’s patterns and will continue to buy them – great for beginners like me!
