Cleo Pinafore & Dungaree Dress

This is my second Tilly and the Buttons Cleo dress. My first was denim and knee length, this time I used cotton velvet and altered the sides to make it slightly A-line. I sized down from a 3 to a 2 for a closer fit across the back and at the sides, although this means the dress needs to go over my head rather than be pulled over my hips. To create the A-line, I added 1.5″ to each side seam at the hem, blending a diagonal line to the hips/top of the pockets.
