A gorgeous pattern that is so comfortable, yet feminine too.
This pattern has three views. I chose View B and made it in an Asda duvet cover(!), thinking it would be a beach cover up but it turned out to be a very wearable dress!
Most of the construction of this dress is very simple, except the front bodice centre panel. There is a Sewalong for this on the Closet Case patterns website. I have to say that when I make it again, I’ll just gather the front and topstitch a panel onto it.
I made a 6 but would probably size down to a 4 next time. Due to being slightly short in the body, I also sewed up that V neckline a little more.
I also like it with a tie belt, so made one, so I’ve got both options.
