This was my second take on this pattern. The first time I struggled quite a bit with the collar. This time, however, everything went smoothly.

Carolyn pajamas is a very classic style – and that’s what I love the best. I made short sleeved top with shorts. The medium weight cotton I used was perfect.

The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I have made one pair with some piping and instructions to do that are very good as well. Carolyn pajamas have really nice pockets and other great details that make them a rewarding sewing project.

Due to many lovely details this project takes some time. I would say a weekend is enough for a more experienced sewist. Preparations take some time, though. There are so many pattern pieces to cut and some interfacing to do. But it is well worth it. This is the loveliest pajama pattern I have tried.
