Butterick top 5997

I made this top up in a lovely soft viscose from Stone Fabrics in Totnes.
I didn’t change the fitting of this top, I cut out the A style but with the length of the shorter top (C), but I cant remember which size I cut out just now. I am impressed with the fit of this top but this does make me think that it will not fit everyone as I have quite wide shoulders.
I have worn this top a few times but needed to re sew a few seams as the fabric is thinner than I am used to sewing lately so I needed to reinforce a few bits.

I will definitely be making this pattern again but will try with some different collar options as this is the one bit I didn’t like as much.
