Butterick dress 4790

It took me a lot longer than 4 hours! There is miles and miles of binding to do but it did mean I learned to use my binding foot so I could do it all in one pass. Have had to add extra fabric under arms due to full bust and also had to put a little tuck in the front to stop it falling off my shoulders. The pattern seemed to have all the usual fit problems for my shape (which suggests it’s pretty good compared with others) but it wasn’t so obvious how to make those alterations. Interesting project nonetheless and it does get worn!
