Avery Leggings

A review of Helen's Closet Avery Leggings

I’ve sewn two pairs of these leggings so far…with more on the horizon, it’s just a case of finding the right fabrics – you need a 70% in both directions. I made mine in a ‘sports’ jersey that has a slight sheen, so they’ll ideal for what I wanted them to be – yoga pants.

They are a very simple pattern but with a few interesting details still. For example they have no outer leg seam, which would mean they’d work great as a base layer too, a waistband that smoothes, whether you choose the high or mid rise version and a gusset for increased range of motion.
