Asaka Kimono from Named

I used cotton, very easy to sew with. The pattern was very easy to put together and sewed up very quickly, I would say it’s a beginner pattern. It is a loose style so fitting way not a problem and I think the Asaka would suit many different body shapes. I’m a UK size 10 and sewed a size 38.
You do have to trace the pattern pieces and they we’re overlapped but this was easy to go because there were not many pieces.
I modified the pattern slightly because I don’t think it would look good on me as a dress and didn’t want it as a nightgown. I shorted it to make is more like a kimono jacket and added pockets. I also shorted the the sleeves because I didn’t have enough fabric. You need quite a bit.
It looked exactly as it does in the picture.
