I made the Archer button up in a Robert Kauffman Chambray. The pattern is well detailed and the sew-along very useful. This was my first shirt and I didn’t find it too difficult. I made a mistake at the beginning: there is a front left and a front right. I thought they were the same piece but they’re not! I ended up with one side far too wide which I had to trim, but nothing I couldn’t fix.
The sizing is good but I find the pockets too big for me. I might make smaller ones next time or skip them altogether. I enjoy the details of the cuff and the topstitching. It’s a nice versatile shirt that you can dress up or down.
