Arare Pullover AnoraK review

I made this pattern to be an autumn ‘walking pullover’. I made this out of a woven 100% wool fabric which is heavier than that recommended for the pattern and although it was hard work managing all the layers where the bottom of the zip joins the front pocket flap I am pleased with the end result. I purchased the paper version of the pattern which I found slightly confusing as both the cutting lines and the stitching lines are shown and sometimes it was difficult to distinguish which was which. I made a size 42 graded to a 44 at the hip which was what the finished garment measurements suggested rather than the straight sizing. The instructions, however are brilliant with some of the clearest and most precise diagrams I have come across. I’d like to make this again in a linen for summer wear.
