Alder Shirtdress

I made version B of the Alder with the ruffled skirt. I used a gorgeous piece of Liberty tana lawn that I’d been hoarding and it was the perfect fabric for this dress. Luckily for me I fall directly into Grainline’s size 12 and this is what I made, with no alterations.

The dress came together well. It is rated intermediate and there were a couple of places I just had to stop and think. There is good supporting info on the Grainline website as part of their sewalong. I think the difficulty rating is fair for the shirtmaking elements of the pattern.
