Pattern instructions – great! The pattern is full of clear step by step pictures and instructions. You do not need a serger to sew this, because I have one, I used mine, but I should have trimmed all the pattern seam allowances to a more “serger friendly” allowance like 1cm. I’m not quite sure yet where I should be aligning my fabric to get a precise seam allowance at 1.5cm.
Fitting and alterations – I made a smaller size 4 at the sleeves and shoulder and size 5 at the bust and hip, for that I think that the tightness at the sleeve might be my fault and not the pattern. Either way my fabric is not very elastic.
Fabric – unknown knit remnant (around 1m) I got at the remnant bin in the local Feira dos Tecidos shop
Difficulty –Begginer friendly, but I’d advise it to someone that has some experience with knit fabric. For a regular sewing machine I’d recommend the ball point needle for seaming, and twin needle for hemming and a walking foot to avoid stretching the fabric.
